DCYRs will join Bekesha for Wreaths Across America's Clean-Up Day

Tomorrow starting at 8:00 a.m., the DC Young Republicans (DCYRs) will join DC Council Ward 6 candidate Michael Bekesha to participate on Wreaths Across America's (WAA) Clean-Up Day at Arlington National Cemetery.

"DCYRs supports Veterans and we're honored to do our part in helping to keep Arlington Cemetery a proper and dignified place of remembrance for the men and women buried there who sacrificed so much", said DCYRs Co-Chair of the Community Service Committee Kristen Shaw.

Bekesha, who is also an attorney for a not-to-profit- government group and a DCYR member, volunteered along with his wife, Holly, to place the wreaths last December. "We are returning this weekend to ensure the graves of our American heroes remained dignified", said the DC Council Ward 6 candidate.

WAA is expecting thousands of visitors to help remove more than 245,000 wreaths placed last month by more than 75,000 volunteers, according to their website.
